Think hackathon, but with an emphasis on data. Join us for a weekend with over 400 participants, mentors, volunteers, and sponsors at UCI.

Unlock the Data
Datathon transformed into a high-stakes data heist. Participants became data operatives, exploring complex datasets, uncovering hidden signals, and extracting insights before time ran out. Teams assembled, trusted their instincts, and unlocked the data.
Datathon 2025
Soar into Data
Inspired by the Seven Wonders of the World, Soar into Data invited participants to embark on a journey of discovery through data, much like how explorers uncovered the mysteries of these magnificent monuments.

Our 2024 datathon, Atlantis, served as a beacon guiding us towards uncharted waters of discovery. Like the fabled city lost to the depths of time, our datasets harbored untold stories waiting to be unveiled. Together, we unraveled the mysteries, decoded the patterns, and charted a course towards new horizons.
Datathon 2023
Embark
In 2023, we introduced our first Datathon as Embark, a theme that reflected our commitment to new adventures and continued growth. It was all about trying something new and finding more ways to support our data community, and we hoped participants would discover something that fascinated them for years to come.
